Chatterbox Shelters and Campus Corners
We’ve been selling Chatterboxes and Campus Corners for many years. Their heavy duty construction, ‘architectural’ design and their ability to be adapted to the size and shape of the available area has made them very popular. This year we’ll be adding a design and new shape with a new type of roof. Glue-laminated timbers will be used to provide curved shapes to the roof line, and the roof will be made from polycarbonate. The result is an airy, modern looking shelter that will provide a light filled canopy for rain day use. See our web site soon for details.
Tiger Mulch Licensee
In the middle of 2009 we became a licensee for a new type of safer surfacing. Tiger Mulch is literally a ground breaking development in synthetic safer surfacing as in most instances it does not require the preparation of very costly ground works before it can be laid, resulting in huge savings. Other benefits are that it looks very natural – much like a wood chip or bark surface. It’s very free draining and very non slip.
We think Tiger Mulch is a great addition to our range of surfaces and we look forward to talking to our clients about how we think it can be of benefit to them.
No Mow
This year we completed a 940m2 No Mow synthetic turf surfacing project at Garden Fields School in St Albans. This fantastic, ultra realistic surface transformed two areas that were either very dusty or very muddy, depending on the time of year into free draining, verdant landscapes that are useable all year round. We added architectural touches by building a very neat retaining wall and a set of steps, both from new railway sleepers. See the case study section for pictures and details. You simply can’t tell that No Mow is a synthetic surface until you actually walk on it.
